- Create a few short memos to get familiar with input and edit rhythm: Recording Tips.
- Set up backup and restore for long-term reliability: Backup and Restore.
- Finish AI Settings first, then use AI Summary and Insight Templates.

Feature map
| Feature | Practical usage |
|---|---|
| Quick capture | Capture first, organize later. |
| Draft auto-save plus undo/redo helps reduce accidental loss while typing. | Write ideas continuously first, then refine in edit mode. See: Recording Tips. |
| Offline capture writes to local library first, then uploads through the sync queue when online. | In weak networks, focus on capturing first, then return to confirm sync status later. |
| Image/file attachments and audio recording can be saved into memo context, and new images can also be compressed before upload. | Put evidence (screenshots/audio) with conclusions in the same memo; in weak networks, pair this with the Image Compression Component to reduce upload pressure. |
| Review and organize | Turn recorded data into actionable understanding. |
| Search, tag filtering, and tag stats help find themes in large memo sets. | Keep stable tags for high-frequency topics to speed up filtering later. |
| Random review, daily review, monthly stats, heatmap, and version history are built in. | Schedule a weekly review, and check version history before major rewrites. |
| AI capabilities | Configure first, then analyze. |
| The new AI flow includes AI settings, 9 insight templates, a custom template, report history, and save/share actions. | Configure a working Chat model first; Embedding is optional but recommended. See: AI Settings, AI Summary, Insight Templates. |
| Data and security | Improve reliability and safety together. |
Export format is Markdown + ZIP; import supports zip/html/htm (including Flomo export package). | Before migration, export once and validate by importing, then proceed. |
| WebDAV backup and restore are available, with optional automatic backup. | Run at least one "backup + restore drill". See: Backup and Restore. |
| App lock and auto-lock timeout are available for local protection. | Enable app lock when using the app in public environments. |
| Accounts and connectivity | Switch smoothly across multi-service scenarios. |
| Supports password login and Personal Access Token login. | Token mode is often better for stable long-term usage. |
| Supports multi-account and multi-workspace switching. | Separate work and personal records by account or workspace. |
