Third-party Share Component

1. Entry

Settings -> Components -> Third-party Share

2. What this component does

When enabled, you can send content from browsers, social apps, galleries, and other apps directly into MemoFlow instead of copying and pasting manually.

It is useful for:

  • Saving article links quickly
  • Sending screenshots or images straight into a memo
  • Capturing text from another app and adding your own thoughts immediately

3. What it supports

Third-party share currently supports:

  • Image sharing: images are brought into quick input as attachments
  • Text sharing: shared text is inserted into quick input
  • Link sharing: when a URL is detected in shared text, it is normalized into markdown-link form first

4. How to use it

  1. Enable Third-party Share in component settings.
  2. Go to another app such as a browser, social app, or gallery.
  3. Tap the system share button.
  4. Choose MemoFlow from the share sheet.
  5. MemoFlow opens quick input and preloads the shared content.

In practice:

  • Shared images are inserted as attachments
  • Shared text or links are inserted into the editor so you can keep writing immediately

5. What happens when disabled

  • Shared payloads are no longer forwarded into MemoFlow’s writing flow
  • If you still try to share into MemoFlow, the app shows a “third-party share is disabled” message

6. Practical tips

  • Keep this enabled if you frequently collect things from browsers or social apps
  • Turn it off if you do not want external apps to trigger MemoFlow input
  • After sharing, add one short note about why the item matters so it is easier to review later
